The British Hanoverian Horse Society (BHHS) is a full daughter society of the Verband hannoverscher Warmblutzüchter (Hanoverian Warmblood Breeders’ Association) in Germany. The impressive record of Hanoverian horses internationally underlines the importance of the relationship between a sound breeding programme and the highest level of achievement in sport.
The British Hanoverian Horse Society holds a number of events throughout the year. In addition to the main annual show there are also a number of regional foal shows where foals can be branded and shown. Mares can also be graded at these events. Depending on demand, there may be one or more Mare Performance Tests held in addition to the one at the annual show.
