Under the Horse Passport (England) Regulations, you must register a change of ownership with the relevant Passport Issuing Organisation (PIO) within 30 days of purchase.<\/p>\n<p>The British Hanoverian Society can change ownership for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hanoverian horses<\/li>\n<li>Other German breed societies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Please make sure you complete all steps below.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>What You Need To Do<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Completed Change of Ownership Form (download from the bottom of this page and complete)<\/li>\n<li>Sign the back of the Change of Ownership Certificate (also signed by the seller)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>If the Certificate of Ownership is missing, include:\n<ul>\n<li>Passport number (826006********* or DE*************)<\/li>\n<li>Name and address of the seller<\/li>\n<li>Copy of the purchase receipt with sellers signature<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Receipt must include:\n<ul>\n<li>Passport number<\/li>\n<li>Microchip number<\/li>\n<li>Date of birth<\/li>\n<li>Horse\u2019s name<\/li>\n<li>Buyer &amp; seller names and addresses<\/li>\n<li>Buyer &amp; seller
