\"BHHSThe 2010 British Hanoverian Horse Society show took place at Addington Equestrian Centre over the weekend of 25 and 26 September.<\/p>\n

The judging commission was led by members of the Verband Hannoveraner in Germany, Ludwig Christmann and Martin Klintworth.<\/p>\n

\"Farouche<\/p>\n

This year the society ran a series of young horse dressage classes alongside the breed show on Sunday. Several licensed stallions were presented during the lunch breaks on both days. On Saturday, the champion of all the young dressage horse series in the UK this year, Woodlander Farouche, bred by Lynne Crowden of Woodlander Stud, was presented by Michael Eilberg.<\/p>\n

\"BHHSThe BHHS 2010 Supreme show champion was Floriana, owned and bred by Judith Davis of Hawtins Stud. Floriana was also champion mare and champion of the mare performance test.<\/p>\n

\"BHHSThe reserve show champion was Hot Dancer, owned by Woodcroft Stud and bred by ZG Bley. Hot Dancer had earlier taken the youngstock championship and won the three year old materiale class.<\/p>\n

\"BHHS<\/p>\n

The champion foal was the colt foal champion, Winwood, owned by Lynne Crowden of Woodlander stud and bred by Carsten Sandrock.<\/p>\n

The full report of all the classes is given below. In the breed show on Sunday, the judges only placed the top six horses in each class.<\/p>\n

Show results<\/h2>\n

Class 1: Stallion licensing<\/strong><\/p>\n

There were no stallions presented for licensing.<\/p>\n

Class 2: Colt assessment<\/strong><\/p>\n

Two colts were assessed for their potential to become future licensed stallions.<\/p>\n

Class 3: Mare Performance Test<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"MareTwelve mares were presented for the mare performance test and eight achieved the required scores that would make them eligible for the title of Elite Candidate (see Breeding Rules). These mares then went on to the showing classes on Sunday to seek the next element of the qualification criteria, the coveted 1A prize. Four of these mares achieved this honour.<\/p>\n

The champion of the performance test, and winner of the Lebensmann Trophy presented by Angie Rutherford, was Floriana, owned and bred by Judith Davis of Hawtins Stud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
