Young Horse Class Returns for Second Year at Annual Show 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

The British Hanoverian Horse Society (BHHS) is delighted to announce the return of the Young Horse Class at its Annual Show, taking place on 27\u201328 August 2026.<\/p>\n

Following a highly successful debut last year, the class will once again form a key part of the show schedule, offering an exciting and progressive platform for young horses.<\/p>\n

The Young Horse Class will feature a series of age-specific tests designed to align with the ridden section requirements of the Mare Performance Test (MPT). Open to eligible mares, geldings, and stallions aged 4, 5, and 6 years, the class provides a valuable opportunity to showcase young talent in a structured and supportive environment.<\/p>\n

The format will mirror that of the British Dressage Young Horse Championship qualifiers, with two horses in the arena at a time, ensuring a professional and familiar experience for competitors.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s event will see an exceptional panel of officials, including Trainer Matt Hicks and Judge Sara-Jane Lanning, who will join International Judge Maren Schlender from the Hannoveraner Verband.<\/p>\n

Alongside the Young Horse Class, the BHHS will continue to offer its established Mare Performance Test (MPT) for three \u2013 six year old mares.<\/p>\n
