BHHS Rule Amendment from 1 July 2024: Stallion Book II (UK Only)

These amendments aim to maintain and enhance the quality and standards of our breeding program.

As of 1 July 2024, there will be changes regarding the offspring of stallions listed in Stallion Book II:

  1. Issuing of White Papers:

Offspring of stallions entered into Stallion Book II will be issued with white papers.

  1. Upgrade Option:

If the stallion completes his licensing at a later date, the offspring will have the option to upgrade their passport to full (pink) breeding papers.

  1. Eligibility Restrictions:

Offspring of stallions recorded in Stallion Book II will not be eligible for licensing or premium mare status.

What is Stallion Book II?

Stallion Book II is designated for stallions who have been licensed, including having their X-rays and health status evaluated, but who have not yet completed their performance requirements under saddle or through competition.
