British Hanoverians compete in Germany
Farouche
Farouche competed in the World Breeding Federation Championships in Germany in August 2012. She won the six year old competition with a breathtaking 9.88, having won the five year old competition in 2011. Congratulations to Woodlander stud for breeding Farouche and to her owners. Farouche is a British bred mare, (Fuerst Heinrich x Dimaggio).

Membership subscriptions, mare and stallion fees are now due for 2012. Membership paid before 31st March 2012 is £45 and rises to £50 on 1st April 2012.

Breed Orientation Course 2013
This course is an in-depth learning experience, offering lectures on bloodlines in Hanover and on the Hanoverian breeding programme; it includes the practical judging of horses, a visit to the State Stud at Celle and to the stallion performance testing station at Adelheidsdorf.

Wild Child becomes the highest scoring horse in the BEF futurity series to date with 9.79. The foal is by Wavavoom out of Farouche (by embryo transfer).
